N. Surendran

Consultant

Surendran is a senior litigator with more than three decades of experience across a broad range of areas, including general civil litigation, public interest challenges, human rights defence, debt and asset recovery, corporate and shareholder matters, securities litigation, intellectual property, employment matters, and criminal defence work.

He was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 1994. He has also served as a Member of Parliament.

Latheefa Koya

Managing Partner

Latheefa has over 20 years of experience in dispute resolution, handling civil and criminal matters including administrative law, commercial disputes, land matters, tort, family and employment disputes, as well as serious criminal offences.

In 2019, she was appointed Chief Commissioner of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), where she oversaw investigations into major corruption and abuse-of-power cases. She previously served as a Petaling Jaya City Councillor from 2008 to 2012. She obtained her LL.B (Hons) from the University of London in 1997, completed the Certificate in Legal Practice in 1999, and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 2001.

Eric Paulsen

Eric has extensive experience in civil, criminal, and public interest litigation. From 2019 to 2021, he served as Malaysia’s Representative to the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR).

He holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of London (1995) and completed the Certificate in Legal Practice in 1996. He was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 1998 and later obtained his Master of Laws from University College London in 2001 under a Chevening Scholarship.

Shahid Adli Kamarudin

Shahid focuses on commercial, tort, administrative law, and employment-related disputes.

He obtained his LL.B (Hons) from the University of Nottingham in 2009, completed the Certificate in Legal Practice in 2011, and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 2012.

Zaid Malek

Zaid is a litigator with experience in general civil and criminal matters, including commercial, tort, and administrative disputes, as well as representation in a range of criminal proceedings.

He graduated with an LL.B (Hons) from Universiti Teknologi MARA in 2016 and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 2017.
